Sažetak
The paper describes theoretical possibilities of applying Bluetooth technology for real-time vehicle tracing i.e. data acquisition on the traffic flow values in urban environment. The paper also presents the characteristics of Bluetooth technology that make it suitable for the application, as well as its currently known drawbacks. The theoretical model that describes the data acquisition method is presented. The given considerations and the carried out empirical research lead to the conclusion which is the basis for further empirical research in the field.
