Sažetak
This articlke will look at the right-hand side of a company's balace sheet and consider financing strategy-the trade-offs between different financing alternatives. In particular, it will consider whether a firm sould reinvest most of its earnings in the business or should pay them out as dividends (through cash dividends or share repurchase) and, if a company needs more money, when equity financing is the appropriate vehicle. It will also consider both the choice of distribution of equity.
