Sažetak
The effect of few subtoxic concentrations of pesticidal chlorinated hydrocarbons in feed on the activities of PC, PEPCK, FDPase, G6Pase and concentration of pyruvate and glucose in 15 days old Nick Chick chickens was investigated. All compounds, and particularly lindane, disturb gluconeogenesis mostly by inhibition of enzymatic activities and changes in concentration of pyruvate and glucose.
