Sažetak
The objective of this paper was to characterize the ultra wideband (UWB) communication channel in order to understand the great potentials of UWB technology. After the definition of UWB technology and comparison with the narrowband systems, we draw attention to forms of UWB signals and modulation schemes proposed for UWB systems. Finally, we designed two Archimedean UWB antennas and performed UWB indoor measurements based on a vector network analyzer.
