Sažetak
In this article, fire tests, flame and smoke tests and standards of optical fibers design are considered for the marine applications. The optical components enabled ship's local area network implementation as well as complete ship's system integration. Some aspects of OFCC (Optical Fiber Cable Component) design for marine applications are considered.
