Sažetak
The paper deals with a simplified method for determining directivity index from sensitivity angle on the piston model of hydroacoustical ultrasound transducers. Keeping in line with the given model, the paper deals with simplified expressions for the numerical calculation of the directivity index in decibels from the measured sensitivity angle values in degrees. The given expressions are in very good accordance with the complex forms of the theoretical equations, and they are very suitable for application in the equations of hydrolocation by sonars.
