Sažetak
It is well known that HIV positive patients might suffer from various and numerous oral diseases. Saliva has a crucial role in the maintenance of oral health. Reported literature data clearly showed disturbances in organic and inorganic composition in HIV infected patients. However, there are only few sialochemistry studies in HIV infected patients. Therefore, our aim was to evaluate salivary concentrations of magnesium and total proteins in the whole unstimulated saliva.
