Sažetak
In this paper we explore the dynamics of Croatian real estate market and the participation of Russian investors in it. The participation of Russian investors is analyzed in context of number of formal applications filed by Russian citizens for acquiring real estate in Croatia. The overall demand (domestic and foreign) and supply side factors driving growth of real estate prices in Croatia are estimated using cointegration and error correction model. Then, in the context of economic convergence of Croatian economy and with the knowledge of factors important for growth of real estate prices, we discuss possible future price dynamics and its importance for Russian investors.
