Sažetak
Setup of the technical arhitecture of the Danube Information System has been described. The structure and elements of the Information System have been presented. The available information resources have been analysed and the further implementation has been outlined. The following main working fields for the Danube Information System have been identified. - development of a national reviews database - integration of the resourecs from expert groups (as the task of a data and information management expert group) - support for the production of statistical yearbooks and publications - support for the maintenance of the Danube Environment Library and a Central Address Database
