Sažetak
ICT application can be observed from different aspects. ICT modifies education through changing the technology of its performance. Different forms of education, supported by ICT, are usually named eLearning or more often mLearning – eLearning. Education can be analysed as process realisation of interactions between basic elements: students, teachers and contents together with defined goals within certain context. Wider ICT application in education changes individual elements of education by their function and structure. Quality and quantity of these changes require redefinition of usual forms of context organisation within which the education is being performed, but also the paradigms of education itself. Application of certain paradigm can be a consequence of changing the above mentioned elements that compose education. Paper considers consequences of changes caused by ICT application with emphasis put on treating the education as information process. Paper also underlines the position of knowledge as educational product and consequence of procedural processing of information in multi-structural way. It is important to apply the parallel or referent attitude towards the content from aspects of student and teacher. Answers will be provided to several questions: Should the education be treated as an information process and what arguments are required for such approach? Are the educational phases from basic, professional to higher level education dependent or independent components of such process? Is the paradigm lifetime learning basic for defining the education as continuant process? Does the context in which the education is being performed define eLearning as business respectively information process?
