Sažetak
On the Drava river, upstream of the Mura river mouth, there are 23 hydroelectric power plants built in a sequence. In this way, the water power potential in the upper and central part of the river is fully utilised. In the remaining lower part of the river, the construction of four multipurpose water steps is planned. In that part of the river the main characteristics of water regime were observed and measured. The analysis of the available data was made and it was shown that they were not sufficient for the mathematical modelling of the morphological processes. A certain adjustment of the data, and especial1y of the sediment data, was made, and the section ofthe Drava river from Botovo to Terezino Polje was mathematical1y model1ed using the HEC-6 software package. The section which is 74 km long was represented with ll7 cross sections. Because of great differences in granulometric diagrams of sediment material on one hand, and different geological basement on the other hand, the modelling was done in several variants. The accepted model of boundary conditions shows that, in the considered section of the Drava river, erosion processes are dominant.
