Sažetak
The paper considers the activity of protection and the rescuing system in the case of accident on the railroad, analysing of provisions of appropiate ragulations about the security in the railroad traffic and characteristics of national protection system and rescue directorate (112) in the Republic of Croatia. Presented are suggestions for the new Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and efficient connections of the railorad safety systems with the established system (112) for the purpose of the improvement of fatal level of the railroad safety.
