Sažetak
This paper presents and compares the results of the innovation potential surveys conducted at wood processing and furniture manufacturing enterprises in Slovakia and Croatia. Survey was conducted at 55 Slovak and 30 Croatian enterprises by using the questionaire containing 14 major groups of questions. Results of the survey showed some different approaches and some different current situation in Slovak and Croatian enterprises. There are certain areas in which improvement can be done in Slovak and Croatian enterprises both, while in certain areas Slovak enterprises showed better results then Croatian enterprises. Innovation potential is similar in both countries, although Slovak enterprises showed better results in general.
