Sažetak
The implementation of various hybrid and electronic based postal services has considerably expanded the area of postal activities. Successful meeting of customer demands of these modern postal services presumes changes in postal operators that are especially significant precisely in the process of postal items delivery and the delivery of other consignments. In this paper we give overview of some interesting comprehensions to which we have came researching the possibility of applying different, mainly technical-technological solutions based on telematic applications, as well as specific characteristics of some other aspects related to postal items delivery organization that enable adequate response to such additional customer expectations. According to this, it is interesting to analyse occur of small, highly specialized companies that are taking over also a part of postal items delivery from large national postal operators.
