Sažetak
Many of economic reforms in electricity sector, as well as the establishment of the Energy Community and Common electricity market have been initiated by the EU. The aim of the paper is to analyse the extend of electricity reforms in SEE countries and the establishment of SEE regional electricity market within the framework of EU electricity reforms. The results of the research show that there is considerable scope for regional electricity trade. Besides the short-term benefits, the final economic goal of such regional cooperation would be the creation of larger and more stable market which would be more competitive and interesting for investors.
