Wool yarn used as warp does not often dispose of satisfactory mechanical properties necessary for the optimal weaving process. Therefore, it should be subjected to additional processes to improve its running characteristics. Conventional sizing is the most widely spread procedure for the preparation of warp yarn with the aim of obraining appropriate properties needed for trouble-free weaving, but due to high temperatures thid procedure could be unsuitable for wool yarns...
