Sažetak
One of the significant problems nowadays is the accumulation and management of construction and demolition waste, which increases along with continuous spreading of urbanization and industrialization. Construction and demolition waste can be recycled and used as a raw material for new applications. Recycled brick aggregates recovered from demolished masonry structures can be utilized in the manufacture of new concrete mixtures. In order to ensure a sustainable waste management it is necessary to predict its properties and to specify its utilization. In this paper is presented an overview of previous investigation of possibilities of using recycled clay brick as an aggregate in production of new concrete.
