Sažetak
Based on the historical-cultural and historical-anthropological aspects of the literary works of the first half of the 19th century, the paper focuses on the principal historical topics of tolerance along the Triplex Confinium and seeks to explore the implication of the multi-confessional almanacs published at the time. In the historical context of the first half of the 19th century, particular attention is placed on the perception of the “ Other, ” showing that traced various stereotypes were often constructed in ethno-confessional frames. It seems that a lack of tolerance existed towards those not conforming to the mainstream confession. Finally, it is shown that in spite of these existing intolerances, the Dalmatian triple border of the time seemed to evolve in the direction of conservative ecumenism.
