Sažetak
The aim of the investigation was to find out the differences in the attitudes of the alcoholics in the clubs of treated alcoholics in Zagreb and Krapina regarding their joining prevention programs. Material nad methods: The investigation was carried out in the following clubs of treated alcoholics: "Centar-Kustošija", "Gornja Kustošija" and "Travno" in Zagreb and "Krapina" (two groups) in Krapina in November 2007. Each of the two groups had 28 members of both genders. The investigators used a specially created questionnaire for general data and examining the examinees views. The data were presented in tables and graphs, and statistics included Fisher test and Mann-Whitney test. Results: In the club of treated alcoholics "Krapina" there were more members ready to act when seeing somebody sell alcoholic beverage or cigarettes to an under-age person and who believed that they could contribute to positive changes in society compared with the clubs of treated alcoholics in Zagreb. Conclusion: The alcoholics in the Krapina club of treated alcoholics were more ready to join prevention programs than those in the clubs of treated alcoholics in Zagreb.
