Sažetak
The study has been carried out on the sample of 512 girls and 548 boys, of the average age of six years, participants of “ Olympic Festival of Kindergartens” which was held during 2007. We have analyzed the results of three athletic disciplines: 50-m sprint, standing long jump and softball throw for distance. The aims of the study are to determine the differences between sub samples regarding the gender and the disciplines. The authors have created the proposal of the evaluation of children’ s achievements in every discipline. The proposal of the evaluation, which has been estimated by tables and diagrams of frequencies, consists of marks and points arranged in ten classes. It is important to stress that this is the first proposal of the evaluation of children’ s achievements in athletic disciplines which could be used and tested as a new example of the evaluation in some athletic competitions (such as all round competition) and for other athletic competitions for children in kindergartens and schools.
