Sažetak
One of the imperative guidelines of intelligent transport systems in urban areas is the new method of using car: car sharing, which has fully developed the idea of using cars as alternative to ownership. Stimulated by the soon-to-be-implemented service of car sharing in Croatia, this paper is intended to present precisely this new method of using vehicles. Although car sharing has been the focus of discussion in automotive industry for quite some time now, and pilot projects have been started, the major support is still missing.
