Sažetak
This book presents carefully prepared analytic-comparative study made with the aim to present proposals for efficient change in the field of child care and stimulation of early childhood development in the Republic of Croatia within the context of the world changes. Its publishing should inspire the change of prevailing practice in preparing the programmes for stimulation of early childhood development in Croatia. The change should be done in accordance with the basic assumptions of the humanistically oriented upbringing and education and international standards in this area as established by the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
