Sažetak
Fruiting bodies of the basidiomycete, Craterellus cornucopioides, were incubated with indole-3-ethanol (tryptophol). Subsequent extraction and work-up afforded two fractions of highly lipophilic esters. Fraction A partially separated into two components with NMR spectra identical to those of authentic tryptophol oleate and tryptophol linoleate. Fraction B was identified as tryptophol (14Z)-dehydrocrepenynate, based on mass spectra and H-1 and C-13 NMR spectra.
