Sažetak
In last time there are so many speaks and writes about wood. Wood scientists and professionals, architects, builders, ecologists, “ greens” , in newer time more frequently politicians, but very often even laics are speaking and writing a lot about good and bad properties and sustainability of wood. Often in these cases, the promotion of the truth of wood depends on the situation and demand of that one who is issuing it. Sometimes and due to the saucy trends it can be immoderate. So, this paper tries to find the answer, on one hand where a truth is, and where are possible doubts and “ lies” , and on the other hand, where the new challenges about wood use are hidden. The authors initiative and in regard to their knowledge and experience is to find adequate place for wood.
