Sažetak
Numerous requirements are imposed on leather and fur products, one of them being washability. Washing cow hide products and lamb fur for linen using washing agents with different surface active agent content and additives is investigated here. Commercial and developed products are selected intended for textile laundering and leather cleaning. Open-air drying and drying in a dryer is performed after washing with the selected agents in two different concentrations. Washability of the leather and fur products is tested on the face of the material, based on the comparison of spectral values of the washed and unwashed samples. The most favourable liquid formulation for washing cow-hide and lamb fur is selected among the product range tested.
