Sažetak
EU-27 Watch no. 7/September 2008 presents a comparative picture of debates on current developments in European politics and economics based on the national surveys in 27 member states and two candidate countries (Croatia and Turkey). Report on Croatia in this issue include discussions on the following topics: the repercussions of the Irish "No" on the accession of Croatia and further EU widening and deepening: the French Presidency agenda and the future of the EU ; current public opinion on the European integration ; quest for stronger political leadership in the EU ; boundries of the EU and alternatives to the EU membership ; the experiences and economic effects of the first ten years of the Euro and other current issues of high salience in the member and candidate states. The authors provide the survey of different viewpoints on the selected issues in Croatia.
