Sažetak
The transfer of tourists from the Split Airport to the Dalmatian islands uses buses through the city harbour in Split, by ferryboats with long waiting hours and again by buses to the destinations on one of the islands. The transfer including waiting hours may last for hours and the level of service is unacceptable. The transfer can be improved by constructing a marine terminal Divulje near Airport Split and by introducing fast vessels, constructing minor airports and aerodromes and by hydrodromes. The paper shows possible tourist transfer systems as well as criteria which would allow selecting of the optimal system.
