Sažetak
The Neretva River is a transboundary river flowing through Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. In the book devoted to this river, the author describes the most important water management features of the River Neretva basin in general and its greater delta in particular. Special attention is paid to the presentation of the results of the most recent water quality analysis of various ground/surface water resources in the southern part of the Neretva basin. Furthermore, the reader can find basic descriptions of water supply and irrigation systems, not only in the River Neretva basin but also in the neighbouring catchment areas of the rivers Cetina and Vrbas. In addition, basic descriptions of major water supply systems existing in South Dalmatia (Croatia) are also given.
