Sažetak
The genus of Otiorhynchus is represented in Croatia by 228 species. Otiorhynchus sulcatus, as a pest, has been known in Europe for quite a while, while in Croatia it has been causing significant damages since 2004. It attacks ornamental bushes and flowering plants grown indoors, but also those cultivated outdoors. Presence of this destructive species in glasshouses can cause loss of the whole production of flower species under attack.
