Sažetak
In a continuous quality improvement of aluminium high pressure die casting process the Six Sigma methodology is selected as a proven methodology in a process quality improvement. The appointed improvement team has goals of reducing machining scrap for at least 50% and material scrap for at least 60% in average. In the paper is explained approach to quality improvement of selected process in accordance with Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. As the porosity is recognized as major nonconformity in castings, with more then 80% of total amount of scrap, the further analysis of main influence parameters is presented.
