Sažetak
The paper presents two basic methods for PLL frequency synthesizer modulation. The sources of modulated synthesizer parameters limitations are analyzed from the aspect of practical circuit design. The theoretical results on PLL circuit parameters impact on modulation characteristics are verified on the experimental circuit. The circuit design problems are discussed together with the analysis showing which PLL circuit elements dominantly affect the synthesizer modulation characteristics.
