Sažetak
Development of customized SC applications often requires deep technical knowledge of the underlying technology. Companies oriented towards SC application usage rather then SC application development often do not have knowledge, resources and desire to be involved in this process. As a result, investments in new off-the-shelf products and services often cannot be differentiated from similar products from competition. At the same time one cannot be sure that “ technology bundle” has not been overdesigned and hence overpaid. In all cases where customers plan to enter the market with innovative SC products and services it is wise to partner well in advance with SC technology companies to get critical knowledge required for efficient product definition and later negotiations with SC technology providers.
