Sažetak
Crikvenica – Igralište (Ad Turres, Croatia) has been excavated since 2004. Evidence of pottery kilns shows a large ceramic center. By the stamps on the bricks we know that the owner of this workshop was Sextus Metilius Maximus. The workshop had been operating since the beginning of the 1st to the end of the 2nd century AD. Finds of thin walled pottery from Crikvenica - Igralište show very few imported items against a very large amount of vessels that are the products of this workshop. Large amount of finds from Crikvenica – Igralište represent the first documented evidence of thin walled pottery manufactured on the northern coast of Roman Dalmatia. This statement is confirmed with chemical and spectrometric analysis. Statistics shows that the workshop produced mostly cups. It seems that only one type of cup was made in Ad Turres.
