Sažetak
Designing new products and modifying existing products based on customer's preferences has captured the attention of engineering, business, and product researchers. During recent years, quality function deployment (QFD) has been recognized as an effective method for product and process development. In the present paper the QFD is presented as a structured approach for integrating the voice of the customer into the product design/development process with purpose to ensure that customers requirements are factored into every aspect of product development from planning to production floor. To illustrate that process a series of matrixes(houses)are used, and that cooperationand communication among marketing, manufacturing and engineering leads to greather new-product success.
