Sažetak
On the sample of 325 subjects, male pupils from the first grades of elementary schools in the city of Split, age 6 to 8, has been tested the group of eleven tests for the evaluation of motor abilities, as follows: side steps (MKUS), polygon backward (MPOL), standing on the equilibrium bench transversely on both feet with open eyes (MP2O), forward bow (MPRR), hand tapping (MTAP), foot tapping (MTAN), standing jump (MSDM), distance ball throwing (MBLD), 20m high start run (M20V), sit ups (MDTS), bent arm hang (MVIS). All tests have been designed as three-item tests except for sit ups (MDTS) and bent arm hang (MVIS) which consisted of a single item. Testing has been conducted at the beginning and at the end of the academic year. Correlation values between single measuring items of multi-item tests has satisfying values (0, 85 – 0, 96) except in the test standing on the equilibrium bench transversely on both feet with open eyes (MP2O). Keiser-Rice's coefficients of representativity of all tests are above limits of acceptance of 0, 60 and amount from 0, 67 to 0, 78. Spearman-Brown's measure of reliability is high for all tests (0, 94 – 0, 99), except in the test standing on the equilibrium bench transversely on both feet with open eyes (MP2O) which comes to 0, 68. Reliability of the measurement results of all tests, evaluated by Chrombach's index of generalizability on the satisfactory level, is on the satisfactory level (0, 95 – 0, 98), except in the test standing on the equilibrium bench transversely on both feet with open eyes (MP2O) which values 0, 83. All motor variables except those meant for evaluation of static and repetitive strength, measured by sit ups (MDTS) and bent arm hang (MVIS), has been formed by the principle component method on the basis of adequate intercorrelation matrix of measurement items. By using Kolmogorov-Smirnov's test normal distribution has been confirmed in all motor variables except in test bent arm hang (MVIS) in the first measurement. Conducted analysis has confirmed good metric characteristic of examined motor tests on the pupils, age 6 to 8, so the same are recommended for the evaluation of motor abilities for pupils in the primary education.
