Sažetak
In order to provide a new, efficient and contemporary way to exchange scientific achievements, to popularize crystallography throughout the Croatian scientific community, and to enforce and facilitate the daily communication inside the crystallographic community, the web site of Croatian Crystallographic Association was created and launched towards the end of 2004. The site contains basic information about the Croatian Crystallographic Association, a member list, an online registration form, a short history of the Association, and the historical overview of the crystallography in Croatia is about to be published shortly. The pages are well accepted. Since the beginning, more than 3000 hits were counted. The official site of the 14th Croatian-Slovenian crystallograpic meeting was also created as a part of the CCWS. The CCWS with its key features will be presented. The possibility of a more intense interactive use of the site will be discussed. The audience will be invited to get more involved to the process of Croatian Crystallographic Web service building.
