Sažetak
During the early spring growth the lettuce, carrot and pak-choi were directly covered. The following polymer materials were used: perforated PE film, and unwoven materials of the trade mark: "Agryl P17", "Agratex" and "Retex". Lettuce cultivars with direct cover on planted crops at the beginning of March yielded a 18 to 28% higher yield than the control depending on the type of covering material used. The covering of carrot sown in mid March yielded a yield of 62 to 91% greater than uncovered, depending of the cover material used. A yield of 14 to 286% increase was materialized depending on the growth method, type of material for covering, but also on the percentage of achieved plant density in the relationship with the uncovered pak-choi crop. The differences in yield compounds of lettuce, carrot and pak-choi were not significant by using different crop materials.
