This papers presents numerical modeling of high pressure pipelines with axial flows. The primary objective was to gain some understanding of material behavior in front of propageting cracks in pipes as wello as to create a model adequate for future analysis. by using the finite element method , a numerical model was developed in the 2-D environment and plane strain analysis conducted.......
