Sažetak
Not only does the popularization of science play a significant role in university education today, but it is also relevant for the general public as an aspect of lifelong learning. A particular model of popularization of science has been proposed by means of the ALIS project and scibars incorporated within it. Whereas the project's main goal is the popularization of science, its specific goals include the dissemination of information and communication about science through public databases on the Web. In this paper the findings of the survey used for evaluating the success of the scibars are presented. The survey has shown that the audience is generally satisfied with the organization and the topics selected. Apart from the answers which refer to acquiring information in connection with the scibars, feedback on the participants' preferences when it comes to topics of future scibars has been obtained as well.
