Sažetak
The paper summarizes several methodology procedures used in a research on problems encountered by students during their studies and their perception of possible solutions. Used were the statistical data illustrating graduation results and possible reasons for students’ failure. The methodology refers to concisely defined internal and socioeconomic factors connected to graduation results. The paper also emphasizes importance of professional training with the purpose of employment of the jobless. A programme oriented to creation of balanced development and life of young people, in a safe and favourable environment, analyses a possible way of positive influence on graduation results, with special emphasis given to meeting their educational needs. This implies the importance of mutual students' communication within students' associations, organizations and the Council. Through such organized activities the students assume active role in creation of college and university education. They also indirectly influence the improved results of studying as well as the decrease of drop out rate.
