Sažetak
In this paper are presented the results of the research of safety parameters of fruit and vegetables and their products. The research take place in the Teaching of Public Health of the Split - Dalmatian County in the period from 1994. to 2005. The aim of this paper is to determine the number of examined samples which do not satisfy parameters and are causing the exposure of consumers to the harmful factors of the environment by consuming these products.The total number of the examined samples of fruit and it's products was 3238 in which 5, 7 % did not satisfy the chemical parameters. From the total number of the fruit products which were examined on microbiological control, 6, 1 % did not satisly legal regulations.The total number of the examined samples of vegetable and it's products was 2974, in which 2, 4 % did not satisty chemical parameters.From the total number of the 1729 vegetable products examined on microbiological control 4, 3 % did not satisfy legal regulations. On the basis of wide amount of data , we can conclude that the number of inacurate samples of fruit and vegetables and theur products are within permited values.
