Sažetak
Walking appears to be a simple task for normal people. However, the apparent simplicity of walking disappears when one attempts to describe the complex mechanism of musculo-skeletal (locomotor) system. In this paper, the comparison will be made between two different models of walking, used to identify muscle forces, gravitational forces and inertial forces that create the pattern of the contact force between the foot and the ground. The discrepancy in the model predictions can be explained by the difference in model complexity.
