Sažetak
This research compared the transfer of ^137CS, ^40K, Ca, Fe, Rb, Sr, Cu, Zn, Pb, Ni, Mn, and Cr from soil into honey derived from meadow flora, mixtures of floral and honey-dew honey, and honey-dew honey. Radionuclides were measured by gamma-ray spectrometry, while other element concentrations were measured by X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF). No significant differences were found, at p < 0.05, for all studied element concentrations for honey-dew honey and mixed honey, in relation to the respective soil types wherefrom honeys were collected. Concentrations of all studied cations were, at p < 0.05, significantly higher in honey-dew honey from the forests compared to either mixed honey or honey from the meadow lands. The highest Tf (21.1 ą 6.22%) was found for ^40K in honey-dew honey. A Tf of 8.51 ą 4.75% for ^137Cs in honey-dew honey was more than 30 times that Tf of 0.249 ą 0.208% for ^137Cs into honey from meadow flora. Rubidium displayed similar results. Transfer factors for Cu and Pb into honey-dew honey were relatively high also. Iron showed low Tf (0.035 ą 0.017% in honey-dew honey) as well as Sr (<0.037 ą 0.020%). Compared to iron, calcium has a high Tf (2.47 ą 1.20%) into honey-dew honey.
