Sažetak
Clusters are clearly the best modality for objectifying the production and supply of tourism products at the level of individual tourism destinations, especially the spatially larger ones. In other words, it is evident that the formation of tourism industry clusters would be the simplest way to create an organised offering that would objectify our tourism product, previously conceived on a marketing basis. As with all systems, clusters need to be managed. Rational decision-making, in the function of taking optimal management decisions that are in conformity with the derived common integral goals of the cluster as a system, calls for a rapid exchange of data between the cluster’ s components to be carried out through an appropriate information infrastructure that should function as an integrated information system. Solving this problem entails the construction of an outsourcing information system, the function of which would not be to solve individual problems in building information systems for cluster members, but rather to formulate a concept for the proper and efficient exchange of information to enable the right joint management decisions to be taken. Given the system’ s high complexity, this paper presents only its general structure, databases and data-exchange concept.
