Sažetak
Although "Cosmopolis" is a somewhat futuristic novel, it can be interpreted from the point of view of urban sociology because it follows certain patterns that were foreseen almost a century ago. If we consider a cosmopolis to be an internationally important city inhabited by many different peoples reflecting a great variety of cultures, attitudes, etc., then we should also be able to understand that cities are more than simple assemblages of its physical features, more than a place where people, goods, information and money flow.
