Sažetak
CdS films on glass substrates are made by chemical decomposition of CdS salt from alkaline solutions of thiourea under various deposition parameters. The photoconductivity of CdS films, the current-voltage characteristics of a photoelectrochemical cell with CdS anode, the degradation and recovery in j/U characteristics under various conditions are presented. Thin CdS film used in conjunction with redox system containing electrolyte forms the photoelectrochemical cell achieving open circuit voltages of nearly 1 V with photovoltaic conversion efficiency of 0, 3 %.
