Sažetak
Production system is a series of methods aimed at defining a production system capable of achieving the required criteria. The activity of production system planning is a complex process where finding the interactions between all significant influental factors are possible only by computer. Paper contains the description of use and the basis elements of IPSD (Interactive Production System Designer) software package wich enables users/designers to complete a significant number of design activities by computer. The IPSD software is an Intranet application based on modern information concepts such as: client-server technology, relational databases and open architecture.
