Industry has long recognized the commercial value of public research and development created on universities and research institutions. As the result, many countries seeking economic growth opportunities through knowledge based economy, technology and knowledge transfer managed to attract foreign investments, start-ups and projects by creating the gateway and environment where business and universities can easily come together.
