Sažetak
In introducing new information and communication technologies (ICT) into educational process not enough significance is given to the computer being a tool of discovering and accepting new knowledge and skills. Computer literacy is important, but only as an essential precondition of different forms of literacy, this being first and foremost information and media (communication) literacy, followed by all the others. Since ICT are being introduced in the educational process earlier and earlier, they become foundations of the development strategies in such societies. Therefore there is a need to research levels of the existing forms of literacy and interconnection of their variables with the holders of social interaction and the forms of social interaction that children practice most. This research was conducted among pre-school children in kindergartens and included both them as well as their parents and teachers. The received results comprise potential guidelines for preparatory planning to improve researched areas in kindergartens and can be used in presentations and workshops for parents and teachers.
