Sažetak
One of the most significant commercial applications of natural zeolites is the removal of heavy metals from waste waters. The present study demonstrates the ability of natural zeolite-clioptilolite to remove lead, cadmium and copper and also the selectivity and kinetics of ion-exchange of these ions.
